Agreements: All agreements are made between ‘you’ and Punting Cambridge.
Payment: Payment can be made online, over the phone, or via bank transfer in GBP. For bookings more than 2 weeks in advance, full payment or a 30% deposit is required. The balance payment is due 2 weeks before the booking date. For bookings less than 2 weeks in advance, full payment is required.
Bookings: All bookings are subject to availability. Punting Cambridge reserves the right to withdraw a product or package, offering alternative options or a full refund for outstanding bookings. Direct bookings are for specific departure times. Late arrival will result in a missed tour. Third-party bookings should pre-book a departure time to avoid waiting.
Covid-19: Customers are responsible for complying with government restrictions.
Access: Limited disabled access is available, and accommodations will be made where possible. Contact us for further assistance.
Cancellations: Private Punting: Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a 70% refund or can be rescheduled within 6 months. Cancellations within 48 hours are not refunded but can be rearranged for a fee. Shared tours: Tickets can be exchanged for another date with at least 24 hours’ notice. Picnics/Drinks/Extras: Non-refundable within 14 days, with a 70% refund available before this timeframe. Additional Services: Non-refundable within one month, with a 70% refund or reschedule if canceling more than one month in advance. COVID-19: Full refund or reschedule available if meeting specific criteria.
Late Arrival: Late arrival will result in a missed tour for both private and shared tours. COVID-19: Late arrival will also result in a missed tour, so notify us by 9 am if unable to make the tour due to a positive COVID-19 test.
Non-Appearance: Failure to show up without notice will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
Bad Weather: With at least 48 hours notice, rescheduling or refund minus a 30% non-refundable deposit is possible. No refund is available for food/drinks/extras. In case of cancellation without notice, payment is retained, and an additional 30% is required for rescheduling. If we cancel, a full refund for the punting tour is provided.
Safeguarding: All under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
Delivery: Online booking confirmation serves as your ‘ticket’. Gift vouchers and purchases made by bank transfer or phone will be emailed. Lost confirmations/tickets can be reissued in advance.
